The 2025 Fall Homosassa River Rodeo

Our event is held at Nature's Resort located at 10359 W Halls River Rd, Homosassa, FL 34448-3410. RV, tent, and cabin rentals are available. Come early, stay late! You can find that information at https://naturesresortfla.com/ as well as information about the amenities at the Resort.

 

Race Specifics:

This is a Rodeo style distance course making our event the only true steers-person race!

All races are Ten person, three races each. Ten person crews may be made up of any mix. If you are unable to fill a Ten person boat, extra paddlers will be on site to help fill your boat.

 

Winners will be decided by combined times of all three races.

​

Drummers are not used for this event. Steers are provided or you may bring your own.

​​

All dragon boats needed will be provided onsite.

​

Lunch is included and will consist of a BBQ - burgers or chicken. For the non meat eaters, a nice selection of salads will be available.
